Basic Appearance Settings

The first appearance setting is Themes which for the most part should be left un-touched when your site is made with CarbonWeb. This section allows you to change the theme of your entire site. The theme is the basic building block to a wordpress website and controls lots of global settings and functionality.

Secondly you will see the customize tab which will allow you to control a majority of the websites settings. When clicked it will pull up a new side bar like seen above. (We will dive into this later in the Advanced appearance settings). Here you can control control things like Logo, Tagline and more.

The final basic appearance setting is the menu as it allows you to control what is seen in your header (and sometimes footer). Within the menu settings you can create different versions or edit an existing one. From there you are able to select which pages, posts, custom links and more to go inside your menu.
