Description

The Tasks board is where you and your team will add their tasks, whether these are daily or future tasks there’s a spot for them all. These tasks can be anything that needs to get done but can also be linked to a project to maximize the efficiency of what you are working on. You are free to choose if you want a task to reoccur or want to set a specific date to work on something.

How to use

1.) In the monday navigation menu, go to “Add” right under the Workspace selection dropdown.

2.) Click “Choose from templates” and using the search feature simply input “CarbonTO-DO” and proceed.

3.) Click “Use Template” to add the CarbonTO-DO workspace template and then designate where you would like to add the template, either a new or existing workspace.

Board Views

My Tasks
The default view in this board is the “My Tasks” view. This view is specifically for you and will only show you the tasks that are assigned to you.

Main Table
The next view we see will be the “Main Table” view. This view will simply show everything that’s inside the board.

Morning Meeting
The next view is the “Morning Meeting” view. This view is very handful if you decide to do daily morning meetings with your team as you can review what everyone is working on for the day or week.

Daily Cleanup
The last view we will see on this board is the “Daily Cleanup” view. This view is filtered to show unassigned tasks to help keep the board clean and organized.

Board Columns

Item
Items in this board are individual tasks. These can be both project tasks and other tasks.

Owner
Assign one or multiple people to the task(s). *Completing a task changes the status for everyone*

Breakdowns (Linked)
Use this linked board column to connect tasks up to items in the project breakdowns board.

Task Status
This status column drives the board; changing the status moves the items to corresponding groups.

Type
Use this column to inform you and your team about the type of project you are working on. Internal work or client work?

Due Date / Time
This column is used to signify the day a task is due and specify the time if necessary.

Est. Time
Use this column to indicate the approximate time to complete a task. Column summary = workload.

Files / Links
Store relevant files, create docs, and link to external file sources or websites for quick access.

Schedule
This column is used to customize timed automations for recurring tasks on your To-Do board.

Schedule Day
This column can be used to plan out when your timed automations need to be executed.

Date Completed
This column will track when the project/task was completed.

When Status changes to Sprint item moves to Today’s To-Do

1 Day after Date arrives if Status is Sprint item moves to Overdue Tasks, Status to Overdue and notify Owner

When Status changes to Future item moves to Future / Long Term Task

When Status changes to Completed item moves to Completed Tasks

Recurring Automations

For Daily reoccurring tasks – Set Schedule as Daily

For Weekly reoccurring tasks – Set Schedule as Weekly

For Bi-Weekly reoccurring tasks – Set Schedule as Bi-Weekly

For Monthly reoccurring tasks – Set Schedule as Monthly
